The Snohomish County Early Learning Coalition (ELC) exists to make excellence in early learning achievable and sustainable for every child in Snohomish County.

The ELC provides networking, support, education, and professional development for Early Learning professions. The ELC is representative in other local collaborative projects including School Attendance, Connect Casino Road, and Homeward House. ELC advocates around early learning needs at the state and local level as well as participates in projects such as Help Me Grow.
Our coalition is a member of the Northwest Early Learning Coalition that represents coalitions in Snohomish, Skagit, Island, San Juan and Whatcom Counties.

We represent over 60 coalition members throughout Snohomish County represent nonprofits, colleges, childcare centers, schools, libraries, family learning centers, collaboratives and government interested in Early Learning excellence.
ELC is led by a leadership body of Early Learning professionals, our Steering Committee, and the Snohomish County Early Learning Manager.

DescripThe ELC holds monthly meetings on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 12pm to 2pm. Currently meetings are held on zoom and will be moving to hybrid model. Email Debbie Carlsen at Debbie.carlsen@childstrive.org if you would like to be added to the calendare invites.
